Space for Startups in Zagreb: NOVASPACE speaks at ZICER’s CREDIT4CE Networking Event
20 October 2026
On 15 October 2026, the Zagreb Innovation Centre (ZICER), an ecosystem partner in the FIERCE Ecosystem Building Programme, hosted the CREDIT4CE Networking Event. The event brought together startups, entrepreneurs and the regional innovation community. It was organised under CREDIT4CE, an Interreg Central Europe project in which ZICER is a partner, which supports green technologies, technology transfer and the commercialisation of innovation.
Our partner NOVASPACE, the international space consultancy, was among the speakers. In his talk “Space for Startups: From Orbit to Opportunity,” Felix Kästner showed how companies far outside the space sector can use space technologies and data to build new products and services, find new markets and become more competitive.
The programme also included “Do’s and Don’ts of Startups” by Charles Hope, founder of Your Startup Advisor (Ireland), who has supported more than 700 founders over 14 years. Five startups from ZICER’s CREDIT4CE acceleration programme also pitched, most of them for the first time in public. The day ended with a networking lunch.
The event shows the Ecosystem Building Programme in action: local hubs and European partners working together to bring space data to founders and SMEs.
Congratulations to the ZICER team and the five pitching startups!
